Hello all,
first of all i would like to say i wish my english is okay here :)
I am from Slovakia and this is my third Pegueot business car.

I would like to post some mods i did over time, in my signature there is link to my slovak thread where i documented all stuff i did on my previous 508 SW and RXH.

Its Allure 1,5 BlueHDI.
I love full leds, i can say that combined with cornering fog lights, those are better than on my 508 RXH.

I like some of Your ideas i saw here, good idea is to use USB hub to get 2nd usb.

And it would not be me, if i did not mod anything.

Hood light is weak, we all must agree. So i made my own :)

I used an COB module i had, attached to alu stripe. COB module is fed by current source modded to feed 350 mA, so the COB would not get too hot. Current driver is attached to heatsink via thermal pad and whole stuff is shrinked with tube. Wires are protected by that i dont know how to translate it. I modded the interior light to pour out power.

Adding USB hub to make both USB devices available plus Android Auto with Waze works as well. USB hub power supported by modified power cable fed from Samsung car adaptive car charger. Only disadvantage is that no fast charge there :( But maybe i will figure it out somehow. Probably not :)

It works together. In my case.
I can play audio from USB1 or USB2 and have Android auto displaying Waze.
With that hub as on previous pics.

Your double manufacturer is “continental” but mine is “bosch” without nav. So that’s the question “can it work with bosch manufactured car audio systems?” Do you have any idea about that???

Sometimes we need 230 VAC in car, not all devices have 12 V adapter for charging.
I had one very cute but not so powerful DC/AC changer.

First i wanted to have it hanging, but the lead cable was too short.

KuforA_6.jpg

It did not looked bad, but the cable was "ugly" :)

At the end i choosen this solution. I made myself sort of extension cable and placed the changer on top of the cover:

All wires protected by hose (as with the light). The outlet is hanging on right side of plato.

Another mod in hood.

Moved the floor a step lower and installed support for two boxes. New spaces appeared for folding stools :)
At the beginning i did miscalculation so woodworker cut the legs shorter. So i had to extend those.

At the bottom of the legs there is dry zipper.

Final:

Also i did FW update of display to 21.07.67.32_NAC-r1.

Did not find any improvements, I hope Android Auto will be more stable.

FW update took around 35 minutes and maps around one hour. Engine must be running.

It seems that you have a lot of ideas. But isn't your car on a good way to become a commercial vehicle ? :spamafote:
Some of your tips could be very helpful for those who have always a lot of things in their car.

As we know, 35 min for FW update is normal. But one hour for maps update seems too long to me. But i have not done yet this last update.

Future belongs to aluminium. I made my own coat hanger.
The hook on handle on roof is a) too small, b) in middle of door and that does not suit my needs :)
I use to carry my working clothes with me, so i came up with this.

Sure, i cant put seat higher, but that does not matter :D

Wow, pretty much amazing what you're able to build with your 10 fingers and some good ideas :)

Keep on sharing... and imaging :D:bien:

Do You feel, that on back seats there is not enough light?
I was thinking about that for long time, i mean adding some more lights.

First thing i did was to modify rear roof light so when interior light turns on, both reading lights will turn on as well.
Quite simple modification after i opened the light module and marked down its schema.
After adding some diodes and one mosfet transistor with several resistors, all three lights shine even without ignition on.
All the basic functionality is kept as well :)
Interesting LEDs are used here, i think the model is called SuperFlux series, look, LEDs are fixed with nuts to the metalic connections.

I plan to change the LEDs to warm white. I will post soon the mod of front light as well.
