207 RT5 avec JBL problem

Please I hope you don't mind too much if I post in English...

I'm hoping someone on this forum will be able to help me and my dealer rectify a problem I have with the audio system fitted to my 2009 Peugeot 207 GTi (aka RS).

I've tried asking on a UK board, but not many 207 GTi's were sold in UK and even fewer fitted with the RT5 Navigation system with JBL speaker/amp upgrade.

The problem I have is that a loud double pop pop, noise comes from the speakers soon after unlocking the car doors, and without putting the key in the ignition, and without the system being turned on. It happens every time.

If anyone has a 207 fitted with RT5 and JBL I'd really like to hear from them.

Good news - the problem has been fixed by the dealer Today.

I don't know in truth if any "programming" work had to be done as well, but..

.. there was a plug with a blue lead that previously was just taped back to the rest of the radio wiring loom, that has now been inserted into the back of the head unit. I suspect that provides some signal back to the amp in the boot to tell it to power on and off correctly.
