Hi,

Some times my engine (1 or 2 per month 1500km´s) stars acelerrating by inself...
my car looks like a canguru... acelerate...2000rpm... and desaselerate... almost 0rpm
by inself.... when that problem ocurs NO WARNING´S lights or msg´s... nothing...
just the Canguru stuff...

I stop the car... turn OFF.... wait seconds... star the engine... and everything is OK!!!

Don´t UNDERSTAND what is the problem...
At Peugeot Garage... they don´t find any PROBLEM!! it´s dificult to predict when is going to do that!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any sugestion???

Pedro Nunes

Hi Pedro, I think I know why they do not understand your problem

I am really wondering what the canguru stuff is for a Peugeot 407 ;)

hi...

the car acelerate by inselfe... if a gear is on, then is beaviheaur is like a canguru....

jumping,, and slowing, jumpingggggggg and slowing...

:fou: :fou: :fou:

check the oil level: see if there is to much oil in the engine.

I´m going to check...

but why oil level? It may have to do with that strange behavier??

The problem appears one or 2 times, every 500-700 km´s...

Thx

tu much oil can provoke to much oil fumes that will be reentered in the combustion chamber by the ventilation tube of the oil pan. Those fumes will be used as fuel by the engine provoking in the worst case an engine that is running only on these fumes and you will not be able to turn off again.
