RT6 to NAC Wave2

Happy New Year everyone - hope it turns out to better for all.

finally received all parts and 1st step of installing it complete. I have scheduled an appointment with my auto dealer to help code NAC next week but need some guidance on VIN’s that I can use.

Also before updating NAC it was mentioned to update one step at a time than going to the final version to avoid issues. Can someone explain in a bit more detail of what those steps are ?

Attached pictures of the testing and is there any specific change I need to make before I can update oceanic maps ? ( I bought the NAC from Europe so can’t find Australia in the country list )

Hi as I told you in the other forum you have to connect on that wire, that is already used for parking sensors so you have to connect it togetherсхема_зад_кам_2.png

merci - mais je suis un peu confus alors je voulais être sûr. Est-il possible de dénuder et de connecter deux fils en une seule broche? Je n'ai pas les outils pour faire ce truc d'épingle, je voulais donc être sûr avant de couper quelque chose

any idea what the problem might be? The camera is a 170 degree camera, is that the problem? any way to configure NAC to support 170 degree camera? Thanks for your help

To c4 owner, do the full set of wheel buttons work with NAC? (, lower button, phone button, black panel etc)

Later C4/DS4 all have a reduced button set, some people are changing them:

In my case after upgrading to NAC I also look into doing the upgrade but I would to be sure that it work with NAC.

@RuLe I have been looking at you post and could not find any description of your cluster modification
Did you describe it somewhere?
(I understand that you work with with @marcins to make arduino code to fix ESP button not working after the change)
Also what DAB antenna do you use? (Unless is your car have factory DAB antenna)

Hi, the keys on the steering wheel partly work with nac, actually there is no need to change them, the call key works fine and the top keys work perfectly

For the cluster there is no specific guide, I posted several photos on the changes I made to the display is all to be improvised, I used fiberglass to create an adapter cover

For the dab antenna I replaced my original without gps nor dab with an antenna from 208, they are all the same antennas, you can use any of these:
9804058180
9666452880
9810547980

Thanks for the details,

My car have only upper button (like all ds4/c4 after facelift, they removed the lower buttons for economy)
I just made the change to NAC and my button work OK.

I am thinking of changing the button to have a fullset (lower + upper) as I find the wheel empty without the lower button and also because blackpanel button on the climate panel is not easy to find in the dark.

I think I will order a full set now that you confirm that lower buttons work with NAC (as DS4/C4 with OEM NAC and fullset of button does not exist I had doubt that button were mapped for NAC)

Regarding DAB antenna, did you also change the harness, or just added fakra extensions to connect NAC to GPS/DAB antenna?
On my car the 2 fm antennas (roof and rear glass) are both connected to amp located on the trunk door (just under the 3rd stop light)
Do you have the same amplifier?

GPS seems to be direct connection.

For the dab just add a fakra extension cable as well as for the gps
I originally had rd45, so I had to add the cables for dab gps and rear camera, I don't have a double fm antenna like you, you have 2 antennas and 2 fm cables that come behind your nac one with gray grip one with white grip.
If you don't want to add cables or change antenna, you can add an original Peugeot gps antenna under the dashboard, like on Peugeot 508,
spare part code 9815467480
and its cable part number 9818825380
As for the dab antenna, I recommend that you read the post of @Keryan

For the DAB antenna I saw the accessory peugeot antenna 1610570480 but some people complained about poor reception.
Changing the roof antenna is maybe the better option to get good reception, but wiring require some heavy disassembly on the car.

Does the 508 antenna 9815467480 have good reception? The cable is just a simple fakra extension? (9818825380 seems more difficult to get)
This antenna is very easy to find and cheap, even if DAB is not planned in France until a few years I might be tempted :pt1cable:
