Fantastic explication job mr. @VLud. This is a similar to me. But in my case I need active the V8 Sound. I try many confguration in 2104, but not work. And other car ( 3008 2Gnd ) I changed the RCC to NAC wave 2, and this work perfectly. For my surprise the new generation of 3008 the peugeot (Focal system sound) removed the v8 sound when adjust to sport mode, the dinamics and G force appear normal. Do you have any Idea where I active the v8 sound?

Still having that terrible whining sound when making calls. Only the person that I call ears the sound. Noticed that only does this sound when turning the steering wheel. If the car is stopped or not using the steering the sound stops. Anyone with this problem? Already uploaded the cal file 3 times. Could it be the NAC unit?

1.2.5 released, full calibration is now working (Warning: between 4 and 5 hours needed !)
Few things:

- Don't try to upload 9694834680 on old CIROCCOs because old SW doesn't have 0206 zone and the upload will fail at the end (after more than 4 hours, you will be angry)
- I successfully "updated" from 9692801480 to 9694131380, result: nothing new at all, still no Hybrid page (black page)
- Updating the calibration is kind of pointless, too many risks for nothing new (but still running tests that will probably result in a broken CIROCCO)

Sorry if I am completely wrong but the USB on the back of cirocco could be one way to updated the firmware more efficiently and safer?

Better don't do it, I'm electronic hobbyist only, took me an hour to restore the software 
you can just write Nand backup from 508 cirocco.... where is enabled hybrid
my 3008 dump is floating in internet
